- without getting targeted by HR? Makes no sense to require this. If this is truly a dangerous situation then we ought to be allowed to WFH (high risk populations or not).

Whole thing is a hoax.
You can't prove to me that one person has died of covid but a lot of people have died from wearing masks and getting vaccines.
Sc--w HR.
Masks don’t work? Ok Einstein...that’s why the flu season numbers were down this year...had nothing to do with masks...lol you dummies...
Already sent an email to HR asking what their plan is. What is the next goal post? When will they remove them? Most people at MRO at vaccinated and yet we're back in masks... hmm.
Nice try using the "ki----g grandma and children" argument. A true appeal to pure emotion! Almost got me there... Masks don't work, they just make people like you feel better about the spread.
Say it with me... Endemic...
The anti vac'ers and maskers are ki----g folks. They have overloaded the hospitals and innocent non-covid emergencies have no where to go for treatment and are dying. My two cents these deaths should be logged as a co-vid death. The hospitals should treat vacainated patients before the non-vacinated. This is the consequences of the freedom of choosing not to get vaccinated. I am beginning to think it will take the death of our children to wake of the non-believers. Let's hope our leadership has the nads to require vaccinations and mask to get thru this real threat to our lives, livelihood, and the longevity of Marathon.
Just wear it. You have no problem wearing PPE when you go to the field I’m sure
Not gonna get into the vax/antivax debate. Your choice. But at least have the decency to wear a goddam mask so you don’t put grandma or that kid with cancer back in the hospital.
California county cuts death toll after finding fatalities ‘clearly not’ caused by COVID-19

It's cool. You believe whatever you want to my angry keyboard warrior. Doesn't change the fact hospitals inflate COVID deaths.
Bubba
So you link to an article thats over a year old, lol. It doesn’t even have any hard numbers in it. Is it 1 mislabeled death or 100? We know much more about COVID than we did a year ago. And somehow all the hospitals are in on this conspiracy, working together to inflate the numbers so they can fill up all the beds and not make any money from elective surgeries (which would make them more money than someone taking up a hospital bed for weeks before dying)?? I’d laugh in your face if I could.
CDC Director: ‘I Think You’re Correct’ About Inflated COVID Death Statistics

Hospitals inflate the number libtard
I'd explain it, but you wouldn't understand.
Bubba
Hospitals inflating deaths is the d-mbest thing you could say bubba. Where’s the proof? Facebook and Alex Jones don’t count.
“COVID deaths are inflated by reporting facilities.”
This has got to be the d-mbest comment in this entire thread, bubba.
They don’t give a sh..t about children in the hospital or others getting sick and dying. They throw a fit when asked to wear a piece of cloth over the mouth. Truly evil and heartless individuals
COVID deaths are inflated by reporting facilities.
To whoever said 2018 flu season wasn’t far off from 2020 covid:
2018-19 flu season deaths in US: 32,400
2020 covid deaths in US: 375,000
Nice try
Operators stop running routes? There are no routes any more thanks to FSM. You think they wouldn’t be fired anyway? They would be gone faster than you can say “bye”
To the OP: having the field operators band together and stop pumping their routes until these ridiculous masks are gone. If you think the field office employees are wearing masks, you’re drinking the kool-aid. If they’d actually answer unscripted questions at monthly town halls, it would be worth asking what retaliatory action will be taken against employees unwilling to wear masks (I’m going to guess the answer changes if 40-60% of employees say nah, we’re good).
Nowhere in the post did OP say they were vaccinated or not. I would presume they ARE vaccinated though because the post insinuates they weren't wearing masks before. With that assumption...
"HR has our backs. If you guys would have just been vaccinated this whole thing would be over. When's it going to sink in?"
HR has the company's back. They are doing this to prevent liability. Someone in legal decided the risk was high enough to begin to require it again, surely.
Clearly the vaccines aren't working as well regardless. Even if 100% of people at MRO were vaccinated we still would be going back to masks because it's still going to spread. Everyone will be exposed to COVID through the vaccine or naturally no matter what we do. Let that sink in.
Plus if you've already had COVID there's almost statistically no point in getting the vaccine. But congrats on perpetuating the social divide and blaming an entire population for this.
"...So why ask a company to continue to adapt/accommodate those not wanting to get a vaccine, that are THE cause for pandemic's continuation?"
True, COVID is probably never going to fully go away actually. Vaccinations are one piece but as more people get it we'll have natural protection going forward, potentially for longer (thus no 3rd booster or whatever). COVID will be a regular thing like the flu, of course. No one batted an eye in the past at the flu. Did you remember people dying left and right from the flu in 2018? Because that was quite a bad year for the flu too and the flu shots did not stop it from being an outlier. Pretty sure 2018 flu deaths weren't far off from 2020 COVID+Flu deaths either.
You said for yourself in your post, "WFH is supposed to be a temporary solution until the spread of COVID was controlled. Well it won't be..." but then go on to blame the unvaccinated. Clearly they ought to still offer WFH regardless if it's truly dangerous (to OP's point and partially to yours) and it's not going anywhere any time soon. Most other companies offer it to those fortunate enough to be in positions to be able to, seems like a no brainer.
COVID and variations of, will be around for a long, long time. The only way to beat it is mass vaccinations. It's the only way. It will not go away on it's own. So, as long as there are as many folks opposed to the vaccine as there are, this COVID stuff may be a regular thing. They should require more than just masks. And WFH is supposed to be a temporary solution until the spread of COVID was controlled. Well it won't be. So why ask a company to continue to adapt/accommodate those not wanting to get a vaccine, that are THE cause for pandemic's continuation?
HR has our backs. If you guys would have just been vaccinated this whole thing would be over. When's it going to sink in?
Easy, just follow the lead of the C-Suite and don't comply. Rules for thee.
Just two more weeks.
