I've become a convert. I now believe layoffs are the best thing that can happen to any one of us. Walking away with a nice sum certainly beats continuing to work for this loser company. It also beats being fired, and that's been happening more and more. So give us layoffs!

Your skill set will be outdated the longer you stay at Qualcomm. Qualcomm is no longer a lead edge tech company - it is now a commodity company. But if one decides to stay knowing their skills are become infected out dated it’s that individuals fault. But one can always go into areospace and defense where the skill set required to work in that field is 10xs. Behind Qualcomm
Getting laid off (from QCOM) is not a panacea. You still have to have the skills to move elsewhere. I spent months studying, tooling skills, and taking any interview I could. I also had to move, which I hated.
I was rusty after being at QCOM and I had to pay that debt.
I moved on elsewhere and am doing fine.
To the OP, just leave already and don't spread poison to the others.
Who are you talking to? If you believe that the company is suck then why wait? You always have the option to walk.
