The brain drain is very much real and there are not enough people to hire to even fill the empty seats, not to mention enough people who could provide even half of the knowledge and experience that walked away. It's a matter of time before the ELT realizes just how fu---d they are. I'd be lying if I said I'm not looking forward to it.

Heard Massive (almost 75%) outsourcing going on.....Not good especially with the current situation of SemiConductor industry. As said, hope ELT realizes about the situation before its too late!!
OP, which site are you referring to?
Singapore site is seeing this now, but the management team outsources quite some positions to India at the moment.
