I left Teradata 18 months ago for the same exact job at SF and am making $65k more in base salary. Then there is the bonus and stock that Teradata could never really provide consistently. I wish I had left sooner not just for more money but how I feel valued now.

If you are working at Teradata, you are underpaid (unless you are on the ELT then you are overpaid). Google, Microsoft, AWS and any other tech company will pay you a lot more assuming you’ve kept your skills up to date. Get out now, the longer you stay the more you look like someone who is stuck and will not take risks.
