There are more layoffs coming for the technology sector at Macy’s System and Technology as they rebuild the San Francisco Team! Individuals we’re recently pulled I to secret meetings where they were informed they were being let go! Some of the dates we received from an anonymous source is Sep 2nd Sep 7th Oct 8th Oct 24. It’s said to also be the reason the rollout of Toys R Us is being halted

Some people are doing multiple jobs with help of manager. Macys need to find them and removed whole chain. They are doing zero work and take free money from company.
I can confirm this is tru but the dates are off my last day is the 15th, I was told I’m being laid off due to cuts because of COVID, but I think it’s because I’m Hispanic, been with the tech division 7years, this hurts, I love the company but it’s out of my control, I have been hired doing the same thing in Atlanta, Ga at Carter’s so I feel blessed
Shoe Dog- I believe the author means the physical rollout in about 400 Macy's store locations. Would not start until January 2022 from a store source I know. The macys.com site does have Toys R Us now on their website. Funny that some of the items they sell are FAO Schwartz. The Macys Tech layoffs I have special interest in as it might be someone I'm familiar with, so if anyone has any more info would appreciate it.
Toys R Us is online at Macy's. Which rollout are you talking about?
I know that FAO Swartz has closed all stores except one in New York . I believe
I heard something about 2 weeks ago, but was not sure as to if this was Johns Creek or just in general. Is this just San Fran or other locations as well? If you have any more info!!
Feel bad I went through this over 2 years ago, thought the company was doing better LOL. Not sure how this affects Toys R Us though
