Of course not - who do you think provided the original great idea to Billy to buy a train station!!! Too many people at this company give Billy all the credit!
Plus they all got huge bonuses for buying it at a great price (in an up and coming location)! These guys at Ford Land are not like the employees at Ford Motor and Ford Credit - they are all real estate and business experts.
True story - Years ago (before CY 2000), out of the blue, I started to get phone calls from various people trying to reach a person in a very high position at Ford Land. I would get approximately 2-3 per day. I looked up the guys phone number these people were trying to reach and each time I would provide the correct number to the person calling. Well, after 2-3 weeks that started getting real old. Now, keep this in perspective, I was a GSR-6 at the time. This guy was an LL4 level person at Ford Credit. So, I called him (got his admin assistant) and left her a message about all these people calling my phone number requesting her boss. The id--t (the LL4) called me back, told me that they have been giving the wrong phone number out to "clients" and DEMANDED that I get a new phone number! He was so rude and arrogant (and apparently not too bright). From then on, I never assisted any of the callers for Ford Land, never attempted to change my phone number, and after 6 months the phone calls finally stopped. In Ford culture and logic - I am sure I am the reason Ford cannot make any money!!!!
