The only chance someone has of being recalled is if you are a new employee with only a few years of service and on the low end of the pay scale.

They will not recall anyone over 40 who’s been with the company more than 20 years. They’d rather hire someone with no experience so they can pay you the least.

The CEO has no real ideas on how to save money other than layoff higher paid employees and replace them with in experienced cheaper employees.

You would think with the problems on the Starliner and the tanker that they might grow to value having experienced people working on these programs, but the accountants who run Boeing don’t have that kind of intelligence.

The two Boeing 737 Max crashes that ki---d all 346 people were the
‘horrific culmination’ of failures by Boeing and the (FAA),
a US House panel report has concluded.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee released an
investigative report which documents what it says is “a disturbing pattern
of technical failures, troubling miss-management and dishonesty”
by Boeing’s cult of concealment and denial in the face of overwhelming
evidence to the contrary, they all protest their innocence
to the contrary

Furthermore, the 238-page report on the Max said:
“Boeing Failed in its design and development of the Max and the FAA Failed
in its oversight of Boeing and its certification of the aircraft.”
It also details a series of problems in the plane’s design and
the FAA’s approval of it.
In conclusion the Max is an unfit and unstable aircraft that should be
Removed from the global fleet.

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/boeing-charged-737-max-fraud-conspiracy-and-agrees-pay-over-25-billion

Boeing, a U.S.-based multinational corporation that designs, manufactures,
and sells
commercial airplanes to airlines worldwide, entered into a
Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) in connection with a criminal
information filed today in the Northern District of Texas.
The criminal information charges the company with one count of conspiracy
to defraud the United States.
Under the terms of the DPA, Boeing will pay a total criminal monetary amount
of $2.5 billion, composed of a criminal monetary penalty of $243.6 million,
compensation payments to Boeing’s 737 MAX airline customers of $1.77 billion,
and the establishment of a $500 million crash-victim beneficiaries fund to
compensate the heirs, relatives, and legal beneficiaries of the 346 passengers
who were mսrdered by Boeing in the737 MAX crashes of Lion Air Flight 610 and
Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302.

“The misleading statements, half-truths, and omissions communicated by
Boeing employees to the FAA impeded the government’s ability to ensure the
safety of the flying public,” said U.S. Attorney Erin Nealy Cox for the
Northern District of Texas.
“This case sends a clear message: The Department of Justice
will hold manufacturers like Boeing accountable for defrauding regulators –
especially in industries where the stakes are this high.”
When you pay the Department of Justice enough money,
you too can get away with mass mսrder

“Today's deferred prosecution agreement holds “Boeing” and its employees
Accountable for their lack of candor with the FAA regarding MCAS,”
Said Special Agent in Charge Emmerson Buie Jr. of the FBI’s Chicago Field Office.
“The substantial penalties and compensation Boeing will pay, demonstrate the
consequences of failing to be fully transparent with government regulators.
The public should be confident that government regulators are effectively doing
their job, and those they regulate are being truthful and transparent.”
The next time Boeing commits mass mսrder in an effort to gain market share.
