Thread regarding General Atomics layoffs

D-mbest Boss

The d-mbest boss I have ever worked for my whole career is at GA. This individual doesn’t know basic industry knowledge or technology. It’s crazy how this person became a director. I am truly working with the laziest and less skilled labor force in my whole career. From the top level to the bottom level all I see is cr-p every where. I had to vent some where so forgive me but I am not going to last too much longer… I have read post on here and I have to agree with all of them that talk about work ethic and lack of skills

Mr. Bungling claims he is a Consultant (Expert in BS) and management pays him well for it. Apparently, he laughs every other Friday all the way to the bank!

The new director in IT is the most incompetent, inept, unskilled, awkward, useless individual at GA. His nickname is Mr. B (I believe it's stand for bungling).

The culture and quality of work is dictated from the top. There's a strong possibility a majority of employees are pretty smart and hardworking if given the correct goals and rewards to work towards. Granted, there is always nepotism in every workplace so there's nothing you can do there. If worker morale is low, then you'll be observing many "lazy" individuals. Find a place that values your discipline and ethics and it'll be the most rewarding thing you can do for yourself.

This is a common complaint at GA. So it is understandable that you work for an incompetent boss. GA has had a horrible game plan for the last 5 years and everyone in management was promoted. So nothing at GA is going to change anytime soon
