Got laid off. Wish it would have happened after I became debt free in January. I'm getting a severance so that's nice but ultimately stressful.

Thanks to the CARE act after I was FIRED for using putting regular trash in a dumpster and disparaging a agent in a online review.
I still met conditions of the act:
I was able to differ $100,000 to a personal account.
oh and if you read up on how that worked it is pretty cool too!!
thankfully it was only 1/7 of all the money I had made with Verizon Wireless.

Yes two weeks per year is standard for Verizon.
Can't say due to my unique situation. It was only me that got laid off. Severance formula was 1 week pay x years of service x 2. From what I've heard in past threads that tends to be the standard?
