Worked for Boeing 25 years before leaving 7 months ago on VLO. Boeing is in its death throws. Commercial is over just as McDonalds Duggy was. I have watched since the take over and anyone who thinks Boioioing will recover just look at duggy. I put my money where my mouth is and watching this from outside is comical. Have an exit strategy or you will fail as Boeing is failing now.

Must be a Boeing employee to be so wrong. Probably management.

The Delta Varient of SARS-COV-2 is here and spreading. Travel will diminish again and airplanes won't be needed.

The Lambda Varient is not far behind and has been shown in preliminary lab tests to be vaccine resistant. More tests are needed, but if I built airplanes, I probably would be looking for something that will be in demand, like medical equipment.

Airbus Gets A Much-Needed A330neo Order

Airbus (OTC:EADSY) has navigated the COVID-19 pandemic with much
greater ease than top rival Boeing (NYSE:BA) .
The European plane maker has consistently delivered dramatically more
commercial aircraft than its American counterpart, and its backlog advantage
over Boeing has grown.
Last week, Airbus announced that German airline Condor had committed to
add 16 A330neos to its fleet, replacing the aging Boeing 767-300ERs it currently
uses for long-haul flights. Deliveries will begin in late 2022 and run through 2024.

I know very few Boeing employees who have confidence in anything Boeing leadership tells them.

As long as they want to reduce the employment in Washington state work will continue to move to Charleston or Moscow and workforce reductions will continue.

Boeing claims that they want to move work to a nonunion state. The truth is they want to lay off their oldest employees who make the most and who are predominantly in Washington and replace them with younger cheaper employees in Moscow or Charleston.

What happens in 20 years when most of the employees in Charleston are over 40? I think most people see the writing on the wall and realize why most people do not recommend working long-term at Boeing.
