I have no insights, and I don't want to be a bearer of bad news...just wondering if anyone has heard rumors about layoffs on the horizon? Some colleagues are already very worried that there could be cuts very soon.

Why layoff if they told several groups that no career growth prospects in the future. They are hoping for attrition. You’re going to become expensive, fed up with the bs, leave, and they are going to hire fresh out of college cheap labor.
It doesn't seem that there will be any layoffs any time soon.

- and don't forget about D&I. Even scooter had to throw that out AGAIN during the earnings call. Why not find the best person for the job instead of looking to appease the few? This company is doomed on so many levels

Genuine question: why would there be layoffs when we’ve doubled in size due to the acquisitions? How would that work?

I don’t believe there is a formal layoff but a selective one based on performance so do some brown nosing! Or maybe you are the chosen few who are protected but if you are over 50 well let’s just say time is ticking!
