Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Not good for on site customer service

July 1st all on-site Customer Service Associates we’re let go. Only a few were retained to support concerned customers. They too will be let go on August 1st. This is a huge brain drain. These Solutions are very complex. Just a SW patch can cripple the system.

The on-site support was out sourced to IBM. Wonder how that happened……

This is not where anyone should plan on having a career.

No they were not, keep telling yourself that lie to make you feel better. Everyone that knew was put under an NDA and threatened with legal action if they spoke. The leader of this effort was DH’s blonde slave who recruited KMc’L. She was under NDA since summer 2020 and got an extended early leave package for ki----g the team she sucked at leading for 25+ years. SEMs were brought in Jan 2021.

While you may have personally tried, the vast message was very very vague.

Regardless, the decision to do this was literally the fatal death blow to CSS and ultimately TDC. Just wait until the earnings bo-b today.

To funny, SM worked at IBM for 20 years. But I am sure you knew that. What a sad day for Teradata.
