Well, wait now. When 8 people died in Egypt, yearly bonuses were slightly reduced.
Except for, quite likely, the execs who are getting sued.
So the company does care about EHS, but only to the extent that the execs can use it as an excuse to cut everyone’s bonuses except for their own.
As for the lawsuit, it is progressing slowly, as all lawsuits do.
And, of course, if things start looking bad for the execs, expect for them to make some big donations to judicial candidates. Or, if the case is federal court, they will just start paying for the judge’s vacation similar to the deals Scalia got.
Okay yeah but like what about the lawsuit lmao mufuggas cant stay on topic
100% Apache doesn’t care about EHS. 8 people die in Egypt. Nothing.
KN as VP. LOL
“Hire a girl”, they say. Check…from an even worse company…with a crisis management background only. Wow
See something say something (but no one will answer).
Sounds like someone in EH&S got triggered.
APA EH&S has been a huge joke for years but has never been in worse shape then the brutal group we have now. The CEO gives lip service to the market about how important EH&S is (as he has to) which makes this group feel like they are way more important/valuable then they are. Until there are zero recordable incidents, zero casualties and you are adding a clear NPV+ activity, sit down, shut up, and show up at the quarterly to present your 2 slides.
"SD being terminated was wrongful? Maybe having a Director of GOM EHS with no operated properties was wrong!"
I'm not really sure where to go with this. Like is this sarcasm or just plain ignorance? Or maybe, just maybe, I'm reading this wrong. I'll err on the side of ignorance because that's what stands out to me.

Huh? Wrongful EHS terminations?
The investor class action
The "Class action?
So many cases to choose from. Be specific.
Are you referring to the recent harassment allegations from a former senior executive, the Alpine High, the Supreme Court fiasco in the Chronicle or the impending wrongful terminations in EHS? Clarification please.
