It seems that at Juniper nowadays it is more important to be someone's friend or family instead of being professional and good employee. Terrible!
Nepotism is on the rise and this has already become a big problem. Nepotism undermines this company that is for sure.

My whole division gloated about how they knew each other from high school or previous gigs. Nepotism at Juniper literally made me avoid personal offers from other friends because I didn't want to be that one undeserving guy as I saw many times at Juniper. Juniper employees/Contractors (who were encouraged to perform poorly by employees doing the same) would basically brag to new employees/contractors about how little work they needed to do; the general gist was as long as X or Y wasn't getting yelled at for the moment, you could slack on tickets.
I even had one division superior tell us in a meeting to slow down a bit or else they would need to lay contractors off due to not enough work. I left, now I'm encouraged to perform better at anew company, thus increasing my salary/safety in the long term.
It encouraged me to get a better job elsewhere. Why waste your time on these people? It is not like you are paid enough to put up with this sh-t.
