Calming That McDonnell Douglas is Boeing or that Boeing is McDonnell Douglas
Is a pathetic means by which to deflect from Boeing’s incompetence!!!
Along with its criminal Malfeasance relating in its continued depraved indifference toward human life.

The more years you work at Boeing the more likely you are to get laid off not less likely.

This same company then wonders why young people starting their career don’t want to spend 20 years working at Boeing.

Boeing considers it’s most experienced engineers as liabilities instead of assets. Management main concern was how do we lay off all these people without being successful sued for age discrimination which they obviously practice.

Nice to read an article where experience is considered valuable and important because that is certainly not the mindset of upper management at Boeing.

It’s hard to call it a talent drain when you lay off the majority of your senior engineers to save money.

A drain would be when they actively leave the company, but the majority were forced out by management.

The company believes that they can replace an engineer with 30 years experience with someone with five and not lose any innovation or technical expertise.

This is the kind of mindset you have when you have MBAs and accountants run an engineering company instead of engineers.

They think engineers are easily replaced with someone younger and cheaper.

The only reason it hasn’t came back to bite them is there is not another large commercial aircraft manufacturer in the US who would hire most of these engineers and compete against them.

Though The fact that space X is eating Boeing’s lunch right now when Boeing had been designing rockets for decades before SpaceX enter the competition should have raised some eyebrows if management had sense.

This is 1000% due to McDonnell Douglas' Corrosive, Toxic and Back-stabbing Culture that infected Boeing company wide.

Boeing dug their own gave Wayyyy back when they made their worst ever decision in company history and merged with McDonnell Douglas.

Boeing has not won a major contract since McD merger and the contracts they have won, they have not delivered on such as Tanker which could end up bankrupting Boeing.
