How is it even legal to break down management payment by the hour and then turn around and pay them half time for any hours over 40 hours??? That's so sh---y that they're asking their managers to work multiple stores sometimes over 40 hrs per week and paying them half the time instead of making it fair and paying over time like any other company out there.

If you don’t get paid 1.5 x hourly for overtime, walk out when your shift is over. Never show up early, take your 30 minute break and your two 15’s. If they want to treat you like you work at McDonald’s, act like you do. Just show up, do the basic job requirements and leave.

If you are being paid by the hour you are not a manager. You are a supervisor. Check federal and state labor laws.

Over time wages are set by the state you work in. CA for example 1.5 for anything over your 8/40 hrs worked for the week. Some states have 0 OT, some pay you at .5 etc.

Don't work overtime, period. Only schedule yourself 40. Not worth your time to work for half the pay. There was already a class action lawsuit for this. Verizon lost. Yet....they continue this practice? That blows my mind.
