Everybody is excited about tomorrow possibly bringing good news regarding work from home and I'm sitting here stressing, convinced they're about to drop a bo-b on us either regarding another restructuring with layoffs or deciding against WFH or hybrid. I think working here has turned me from a cautious optimist into a pessimist.

it was great news to the employees. special 1 month salary bonus and 13 hours remote work option. Most folks happy to see that. for those that aren't....GTFO.....many skilled people who would love to take your shoes.
it was excellent news. 13 hours a week you get to work remote. Pretty big perk for PXD to give considering the peers don't come close to matching up. Poke bowl Thursdays still hold strong, too ;-)

It was not a reorg or paycuts. It was an announcement of WFH, vaccine incentive, and a surprise bonus of one month salary.
