- Get rid of the entire upper management. Replace them with people who care about the company and not only with how to enrich themselves.
- Make sure people are promoted based on merit and not nepotism and cronyism, for obvious reasons.
- Start treating employees like valued assets instead of easily replaceable placeholders. If employees don't care, customers will notice. If employees don't know what they're doing because they haven't been trained and are expected to pick things up on their own, customers will notice. If employees stay here an average of few months (if that long,) customers will notice. Happy employee = good employee = good customer service = more customers.
Not that I expect to see any of this come to fruition, of course.
