Inflation is getting worse as economy is crashing. The worst is yet to come. Macy’s may know this and try to fire all managers by feb 2022.

Inflation doesn't happen when the economy tank. It's a result of demand exceeding supply. People are shopping again and production hasn't caught up. Macy's has money to pay better. They just won't because they don't vale their employees.
True but we talking about Macy’s here a greedy selfish company. I could see manager all gone
100% agree with poster below, there is no way Macys can not function without managers. Now the how they are utilized, what they are called and their job function may change but their will always be 50+ hour a week exempt from OT salaried managers in buildings that remain open
Um, no.... they may reduce more but they definitely can't let go all. There's no way the business can be run without management level people working 50+ a week and exempt from OT.
