Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Fake Google Reviews

Someone who must work for the company is posting positive Google reviews for stores under multiple names. When you look at the profile they have posted the exact same review under the head office Google listing.

These are easy to spot as there are many of them. Many are also relied to my a Sears representative thanking them while ignoring all the poor rated reviews.

The whole thing is strange, why even bother creating all the fake reviews, why bother responding to them and why are they paying people to do this as it's not going to increase sales. I am just supprised they have someone monitoring all the Google listings for stores when they have out of date store listings on the websites.

Loss prevention would never allow this to be done internally, these claims are false. We have a code we follow called HIT. Honesty, integrity, and trust.

Finally BUSTED! I used to do this for a living before COVID-19 hit us. I worked out of Hoffman Estates and there was a group of 20 member experience agents, that's all we were asked to do while I worked there.

Sears started posting fake reviews many years ago. It was hilarious how easy they were to spot. "I recently purchased a 12345 drill from division 9 at Sears along with the extremely reasonably priced product protection plan....." It is kind of surprising anybody bothers now. I guess the few remaining execs need something to do.

It’s always Opposite Day/ upside down land in the world of Eddie. You know what he is like when he gets one of his famous ideas in his head. He runs with it and fights for it at all cost.
