I come back to this site every once in a while to remind myself what people sound like when they are bitter and able to say things anonymously that may or may not have the slightest bit of truth to them, instead of just doing their jobs. Thanks for the reminder. Have a nice day.

I have been saying the below for years. The reason employees resort to this site is they have no faith in HR or their own management. There has been case after case where an employee brings a valid concern to HR and because of these sacred cows and pets that the c-suite team has created the voices of the victims fall on deaf ears. What they choose to ignore means they tolerate these behaviors. Then they preach respect, diversity, inclusion, and all the other pieces of their cultural religion. They don’t want to produce a cultural survey because they are afraid of the documented responses. The bottom line is employees feel safe in coming to this site to vent about their frustrations and call out the obvious corruption and good ole boy system that has run this company since it’s inception because that is their only avenue where they don’t get fired for speaking up. Maybe we do need to unionize to fix this system. If we continue to do what we always do then we will get what we always have gotten.

lol complain about people posting anonymous, then post anonymously… Has to be HR or one of our top talented VPs. Do what I say, not what I do.

I’m thankful I’m still hanging on to the titanic. I’m getting a paycheck and spend most of the day trading stocks, and shorting our stock. #blessed

Some posts are BS, but there has been a lot of truth on these boards as well. Maybe if CHK culture was more open & transparent without fear of retribution, people wouldn’t feel the need to anonymously pass along info on this site. Maybe if CHK wasn’t crooked & corrupt from the top down, the worker bees would feel safer in their jobs calling out fraud at the bottom levels when they see it.

But no. That is not the case. Honest people who also speak out or whistleblow find themselves fired while the plotting & deceptive kind find themselves saved or even promoted.

That, sadly, is a huge component of CHK culture.

Thanks HR. How’s the list for the next layoff coming along? What’s the number 60-70% reduction when STX gets signed? I’m thankful you’re the VPs personal assistants. Let us know when you want to get feedback on the leadership here and we will stop needing to pass the information on here.
