Would you want your accountant to use software that was mainly written in India?

Be honest now.

You think your accountant knows where the programs are coded? If accountants tax customers knew that GoSystem Tax sends their information overseas for input how long do you think they would put up with it? And the accountants know that. Think Intuit from 2002 or 03 when their support went overseas. It lasted 30 days and TR swooped in and picked up a BIG chunk of their customers.

Like people have a choice, from the way things look, isnt everyone outsourcing to places in India, Manila, Belarus just to name a few.

Who cares where the software was written?

What a great response, @mal+1buizUvX - with that line of thinking, you’re cut right out for management at the new TR!

Why worry about your accountant needlessly putting your trusted data in a high risk situation when you can just sue them instead?

Sue your accountant? Really? You can sue your accountant but that doesn't mean you aren't liable yourself - https://www.sportscasting.com/kareem-abdul-jabbars-former-finacial-advisor-stole-9-million-from-him/

Sure. I’m hiring the accountant and whatever he wants to use is fine by me. He’s the one getting sued for malpractice if anything goes wrong.
