I don't know what situation you're in, but I have very little work to do lately. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever had less. Every day is a slow day.
Some would say that's great, but I'm starting to get worried if it goes on like this. Looking at my job situation from this perspective, I have to say I preferred when I was swamped with large amounts of work.

Need a better quality of machinist than what’s left now . They won’t cope if they do get new work

I’ve already been asked back within the last week but turned offer down,something better will turn up
None of the ones earlier that was made redundant, will be offered back, as we need better quality machinists that know what there doing.

Also a large batch of casing hangers, 4 tubing hangers, and 14 gate valves, on top of that lot, 7 risers in for refurb,an advert for recruitment for 4 machinists will be out soon.
Your full of it. DQE have 3 premier blocks coming, but none will be manufactured in uk
