Any truth to the latest rumors about more cuts?

A layoff is an opportunity to leave a corporate dump.
My coworker and I were talking about this the other day. I don’t know about any cuts coming, but now that the pandemic is winding down in the US, we expect to see more & more people leave since a lot of people decided to stay until the Covid numbers went way down.
They've already started for June, lost a key manager in our group and have heard of more cuts from other groups during meetings. Plus more and more are just leaving for new jobs - it's getting thin, something is going to go badly very soon because the those who know how it all works aren't here any longer.
I'm getting tired of stressing over possible layoffs, to be honest.
