I wouldn’t want to belittle anyone, but I’ve really never worked in a company where I had to work with people who don’t like their job so much. I understand, GA doesn’t give any special motivation, but it’s really hard to work with someone who is so demotivated and only works the bare minimum.

I have GREAT colleagues at GA! We all watch out for each other! I get the 1st nap and we rotate who naps next! We aren’t competitive with each other and no one tries to outshine anyone… if the job takes an extra week, month or year no one blinks an eye… things happen and everyone knows this… no one is trying to ki-l anyone just to get a job completed! I have to say GA is a great place! And if a young motivate work tries to come in an ruin the program… we get him out of here fast! We have a great program at GA where everyone is allowed to work out their own pace and NO one is allowed to harass anyone just bc it may take an extra month or two to complete a 2 day project!
Areospace in general are full of people that work the bare minimum. GA is a place where people don’t work … and cry if you say they are not…. Then HR will ask why are you being mean…. It’s an interesting place… a defense contractor where people openly state they hate the military and that the US is a te------t country… I have heard things and seen things at GA that made me walk away…. But if you need a place to just chill for a couple of years … even Do below the bare minimum and just get by… this is the place - heck they may even think your management material…. The only problem is no one else will ever want to hire you bc of the horrible work ethic you learn at GA
