Wow! Had to go into the office and talked to at least 3 people who are close to getting jobs elsewhere. Almost everyone is interviewing. BJs here I come!
How long will you love your job when out of the blue your position is eliminated or you are just part of the numbers layoff? And it doesn’t matter if you have been with the company one year or 10 years. Smart to just keep your options open.
I have been with Staples for 10+ years and is still happy about work. I love my job and all you people who complain just leave so we don't have to hear you whine about your job or manager giving you extra work.
What a great point. When I started with my new company I couldn’t believe how much better it was. It was growing, people were happy and engaged, work was efficient and meaningful… what a difference! My friends and family say that I’m like a different person now that I’m not a Staples zombie.
I left about a year ago and was immediately happier. You don’t realize how the toxic environment, unrealistic workload expectations, leader incompetence, and lack of resources weighs on you until you leave. A HUGE weight lifted. GO!
