Thread regarding Shell Oil layoffs

People here suffer from victim complex

Everybody is out to get you, everybody is discriminating against you, the company hates you, the company doesn't value you... The company is not your spouse or parent to love and care for you! The company pays you to do do a job. You get the money, the company gets the service. That's it. The sooner you realize that, the better you'll be in life.

So the last commentator is saying what while this is a societal problem, lets hit Shell while they are down as they ONCE had deep pockets?

Its a sinking ship, you want to save Shell by starting and putting white men back on the table?

RDS is (like many other Fortune 100s) actively promoting a globalist agenda - equity, climate crisis, and global financial 'reset', as prescribed by the WEF and UN, and specifically by it's financiers and institutional investors. Across the corporation, this manifests in role selection based on diversity and corporatism - not talent, experience, or qualifications. 'Global citizens' who've long since traded homeland loyalty for fealty to RDS are preferred in leadership roles. This is not about victimhood - employees are feeling the pinch of a purposeful pursuit of a global agenda to reset the company's power structure and redistribute wealth opportunity. Wake up!

One of the reasons expats flock to the U.S. is to get a piece of prosperity enabled by the principle - “ Government of Laws, Not Men”.

Until the equal opportunity laws are abolished, it is in public interest to debate these issues, and point out instances where giant corporations blatantly violate these laws.

Unfortunately, because now the "right" kind is being discriminated against (white hetero males), everyone in power wants to turn a blind eye to that. They only venue that is left are courts.

Every week someone starts a post complaining about the people on here. Can we please keep discussion boards to Shell-specific topics, not just complaining about other posters.

The discrimination topic is a news worthy item and part of American and global discussions right now. Shell's messaging around gender and race targets are directly relevant to this topic and cause for concern for a lot of people. Many see it as a very slippery slope that cannot possibly end well for the company, employees, or society.

Shell pays their employees to perform a job, yes, and in return they provide value, and Shell is entitled to lay people off. Nowhere in the employment agreements or federal law does that make it okay to discriminate based on s-x, race, or anything else though.
