They fired me for no real reason. I guess it is employment at will but this company is ludicrous. If you care about having a career, don’t bother applying here. I can’t believe they run utility services for 6 million users

I love my job and I think CMS blows away DTE for work environment. What you put into your job is what you should expect to get out of it. We are too heavy in mgt. positions but I can speak up on topics and not get talked down too. I'm 60 years old and have never worked for a better company.
I just quit that place and reported the company to EEOE. Any self respecting person will not work for CE!!!
Consumers energy sucks the energy out of consumers! HAHAHA
I quit after 5 years. Worst company ever! So happy to have left them. This is a company you don't want to every work for!
Join DTE instead, much better culture and smarter people. Consumers energy is full of d-mb management and utter stupid workforce!
Absolutely horrendous place to go work. I was hired late last year and I feel so lost and clueless even today on the leadership direction sometimes.
Thanks for this info. I am going to decline my offer that I received recently. Don’t want to join a company with questionable ethics and culture.
Worst company. Even director level employees are garbage and low quality material.
My close friend went through a lawyer against CMS. The lawyer even who told her that CMS energy has too many employee complaints for a company their size. Wonder why Glassdoor paints such a rosy picture (4 stars!!!, I would not give it even 1 star!)
Condescending remarks, inside jokes, hostility were my experiences 2 years ago. Looks like this company has not learnt their lesson yet!
