I just wonder if there is any limit to how much employees can be loaded with work here? That limit doesn’t seem to exist, especially if they notice you’re working hard. They are great at detecting who can be loaded with a ton of work without resigning.
The logic is I guess -> if you work hard, they think you care about saving you job because you have no other option and they take advantage of it.

Sounds like you're a great employee. So why're you wasting your talents at the retail cr-p pile of Corporate America ?
Go someplace where you will get appreciated..
You can be a hard working and loyal employee and get laid off! I know that first-hand. They don’t really care. If your number is up then your dedication does not matter. Sad but true.
