There’s a reason why many corporations are starting to fire/phase out middle management. It’s because they effectively do nothing anymore but consume six figure salaries and make everyone’s lives more miserable and add a lot of extra red tape. The boomer mindset of having to trek to work to save their commercial real estate is even more nefarious
