Broadcom has become one big disgrace. They laid off my colleague, who did a great job, to keep a couple of slackers enjoying superstar status. I immediately sent as many job applications as I could and I expect to leave this ridiculous company as soon as possible. I've had enough.

That's not entirely true. If you are one of the guilded ones you are living on hog heaven. Everyone else over 40 has a bullseye on their back. Broadcom gives out mega RSUs to higher bands(ie older employees), but then puts them on the chopping block after a year or two because they're way too expensive. Broadcom could reach a 99.9% profit margin and they would still be looking to cut. If Hock had his way he would be the only employee.
