The Workday invites CA employees to enter their vaccination status. Class action anyone?

Vaccine mandate now back for companies with more than 100 employees. The temporary halt to the mandate has now been lifted by the court and the mandate is now in effect.....again.
I guess 3M and the others have to go back to their original plans or risk fines and lawsuits.
Bottom line.............if you want a job get the jab.
General Electric, 3M, Verizon, and Oracle have in the past day or so hedged their bets and snuck out of bed with the US government: no more vax requirements! We are talking about a large group of people no longer bound by the brotherhood of the needle.
Anyone receive a notice that their team’s deadline to have proof of at least one shot was earlier than what was stated company wide?
I am vaccinated and my manager and director are aware of that, they are also aware that I strongly oppose the vaccine mandate and I support people’s right to choose. I just haven’t uploaded my info in Workday. I’m not sure why I would lie on a fully anonymous site…
I had covid last year and it was miserable, so if the vaccine could lessen the symptoms I thought it was worth getting it, that doesn’t mean it is the best solution to provide long term safety.
You say you are vaccinated but have not reported that to your manager. That fact and the statement below, sounds like you are really NOT vaccinated and just came here to stir the p-t.
"Vaccination from a vaccine that doesn't provide immunity and only lasts a short period of time is certainly going to save less lives than something like requiring everyone to eat healthy and exercise."
I wish the trolls would leave this site alone.
I was contacted about my vaccine status yesterday following Enrique's latest email. I am vaccinated but I am strongly against mandating the vaccine and haven't reported my status because of it. I also have been designated a hybrid worker and have been performing my job effectively and completely from home for over a year and a half so requiring me to get vaccinated makes no sense. If safety is our goal then there are many ways to achieve it. Vaccination from a vaccine that doesn't provide immunity and only lasts a short period of time is certainly going to save less lives than something like requiring everyone to eat healthy and exercise. I've made my Europe-based manager aware of my stance and waiting to see what they say.
Southwest Caves, Ditches Plan To Put Unvaccinated Staff On Unpaid Leave In Dec.
Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly says he’s “never been in favor of corporations imposing” vaccine mandates.
Enrique will have wokeness kicked out of him soon, as the tide turns. "Science" or no science...
"Seriously shocking how easy people give up freedom"
Do you even know what freedom is?
You gave up your freedom the minute you started your first job. You needed a government issued ID and SS number and/or a birth certificate to get that first job. Let's not forget the background check and dr-g screening. To get to work you would need transportation and often that means a car. That car in order to be registered (another government agency) has to have proof of liability insurance by a private company.
Freedom, you don't really know the meaning of the word do you?
I can't believe I have to be this specific when talking to you but in regards to the raids, but I'm speaking about vaccination status. Sending me an article from February about other covid related inspections by OSHA is not the point and you know that. Show me one where their checking vaccine status. Seriously shocking how easy people give up freedom. You're never going to get the freedom back. Just like you never got privacy back after the Patriot act which still is here twenty years later.
2 days ago!!! What kool-aid are you drinking. The OHSA raids have been going on since Feb 2021.
Here is just one example (link below) and the list is a long one. Locally a donut shop was raided last week for not having masks on their employees or vaccinations either.

I don't know what planet you live on but the rules that OSHA came up with just got delivered to the government 2 days ago. Sad that someone like you actually works in HP.
If the vaccine is working then how come there's so many cases still? Don't worry get in line for your next shot every 6 months. Turn off CNN go to the CDC website and educate yourself. I actually worked in seeing how many people have died in 22 months under the age of 50?

To @1Wabo+1bmmrBfq the mandate is being enforced here in OR by OSHA. They are visiting small businesses all over the place for compliance.
You are the one with the closed eyes and mind. Open it and learn something.
What mandate? You mean the one where that bumbling id--t stood up and said there was a mandate and then told OSHA to do it and now we've never heard a thing from OSHA? And please tell me if the vaccinated are so safe what are you worried about? Open your damn eyes I guess there are some stupid people still at HP. I thought they all went to HPE.
Texas will not enforce it if HP ends its presence in Texas. HP may move into Musk's place in CA. Seriously though, the HP US vaccine mandate is country wide. As of now it is at odds with the local laws in MT and TX. Because the ELT believe in "science", the move is a no brainer because people WILL DIE without the mandate. Unless they play 3D chess and figure how to pull a bonus WFR.
How will Texas enforce that since HP is not a Texas based company. HP is governed by California laws.
So the mandate is now illegal in Texas. What will our woke ELT do?
Anyone been contacted about their exemption?
"Think of vaccination as part of dr-g screening which happens at all companies. "
Although I think you should get the vaccine if you want it, this is BS. Dr-gs impact your performance, and there are no "stoned days off". However there are "sick days off" if you do get sick.
Coming up next, mandatory flu vaccines, because, you know, 500,000-800,000 people end up in the hospital every year due to the flu, and we all need to fall in line for the good of our company, according to Comrade Enrique.
Carly F's degree was in medieval studies. Appropriate!
Why? The HP ELT went to the different MBA school?
"WFR @ 35% on November 1 followed by $50bIn in stock repurchase. To the Moon, baby!"
I think you got that wrong. HPE is doing a stock repurchase not HPQ.
WFR @ 35% on November 1 followed by $50bIn in stock repurchase. To the Moon, baby!
Reading these posts, I can't believe how good we had it up until 1999.
In the full of rainbows and smiley BAME-BIPOCs Q3 meeting, none of the vaccine mandate questions was answered.
Your MA in Post colonial Egyptian proto feminist poetry was still worth it: you made it to the HP Diversity and Inclusion team.
Well you cherry picked what you wanted out of that study..........didn't you? Here is the article for educated people to read
https://www.cmu.edu/dietrich/news/news-stories/2021/july/covid-hesitancy.html
“It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People with a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a PhD.”
A new report by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh has found that the most highly educated Americans are also the most vaccine hesitant.
The Workday pull down menu contains Political and Philosophical among the reasons for refusal. This is worldwide and is not applicable in the US. If you are stateside the ELT denies you the most rudimentary intellectual faculty.
@1ahsb+1bmmrBfq
Most of our team has been vaccinated. You won't find too many "Q" people at HP. We base our whole careers on science and not conspiracy theories. The CW's are a different story. Heard of a few that will not be returning.
Now it is official. 40% WFR would be a spectacular virtue signaling success.
They can sue your stupidity.
Whom will my estate be able to sue if I succumb to Enrique's virtue signalling, get a vaccine and die?
to @xkhd+1bmmrBfq
The FDA did approve them for emergency use and the companies can be still found to be liable if they knowingly had fatalities in their trials from the vaccine. I wish you types of people would quit spreading lies.
Except the FDA has not approved these brews and nobody can be held liable if you hit the bucket.
Think of vaccination as part of dr-g screening which happens at all companies. No class action suits because a company requires its employees to undergo dr-g tests.
Sure, you go first.
