Get rid of one, hire two

I've seen this happen several times and something tells me it'll keep happening under this management. They're so quick to get rid of people due to their pay that they don't even stop to think if that person has a higher pay for a good reason. Then when they are gone and their job has to be done by somebody they have to hire two people to replace that one person. It'd be funny if it was not sad.

All smoke and mirrors- they know they can pay women and minorities less while making their diversity scorecard look good. Don’t be fooled.

Yeah, it is the same at any company run by bean counters. They just look at a person, and say "man, they're making too much, we need to cut costs." Can that person, and move on. They never seem to notice that you need to hire two or three people to do the job that the one person was able to do. Just take a look at the network support team. Any problem used to be handled by a single person. Now you need 3 to 4 people on a chat session to attempt to fix a problem, and usually even then the problem never gets resolved.
