I wish all the time for good news. Problem is everyone likes to lie. The manager cut about a month ago lied to everyone at our shop, saying layoffs were over. Meanwhile 55 people were cut.
Give us some good news then. Some words of hope if you got any. Not just come on here and cyber bully.
This company is a disgrace and a disrespectful to its employees and customers. You have absolutely no where to advance. They will easily cut you like a piece of cheese. COVID is over jobs are opening up all over the place. My advice is to take your skills elsewhere. It’s very hard at first. But when you see how it is on the outside omg you’re life and health improves. No more running around with ridiculous numbers and routes. It’s unacceptable to be treated like this. I pray every day for all my coworkers

I was on the list . Looking back I’m glad they did it. Payed me not to deal with their BS. Working like a Gentleman now. Mon-fri. Come in late, leave early. No ones up my a__ about anything . Never considered working for a contractor. Took my experience elsewhere. Working for a contract would be giving in to their plan. Let them train someone new .
Nobody really knows anything and if they did, they won't be spilling it here. I'll tell you that when I left a union depot last year, we were told the list changed everyday. Now, I took a package so who cares now but it was a couple weeks worth of freaking the F out. Not knowing anything from the union except "we don't know". All we knew was how many guys they wanted and the list changed everyday (which is complete bs) no human being should have to live like this. The only thing the union did for me personally was stress me the F out if I was on the list or not. Well, I made my own list, they offered a voluntary and said I'm out. Just do yourself a favor and just keep looking. You could be a contractor and do the same job with a little less pay with alot less stress. That is if you can afford it. if not, keep working and looking until something comes up
