Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Whatever we do it’s not enough

Last year was all about dropping more and more work on us and constantly criticizing that we’re not doing enough. We thought those practices would eventually stop but the managers keep on doing it. On the other hand, I heard from a friend who worlds in another part of the company that it’s a totally different story there.
I figure they’re lazing the ground to dismantle our team or at least lay off some of us. Is anybody facing the same thing at their workplace.?

My old team was done this way. Drop so much on us that it was impossible to meet the goals they set, and then they basically jsut got rid of all of us in favor of a "new and better business model". Funny enough, the new plan takes even longer than the way we were doing the work, but it saves them about 10 people worth of salary so I guess it was worth taking a hit in the customer satisfaction they claim to care about.

Am I salty about busting bu-t for the company for 20 years and getting shown the door? Yes. Not sure who wouldn't be.

Many teams in other parts of the country are spending time on spelling as a benefit for proper communication.
