Drilling Folks

The previous post meandered into some dirt on drilling folks in the field. That was the best part. The $60k KLX thing in STX... wow.

What else is there? Any stories? Only use initials or hints, don’t give any names. I know of some ticket signing in Haynesville for supplies never received (supers were getting handouts).

C’mon. Most of us reading this don’t work there anymore, anyway. Remember, not too many details. Some folks still do work there.

That description lines up with a few men, prolly more than you can count on one hand. I don’t know who is being referred too, but I could take a stab at it. This happens outside of Drilling too you know.......

2 investigations same guy went no-where. One said investigation I happen to know for a fact he was involved in the wrong-doing. Absolute fact. Someone in the office was protecting him- it seems. It may very well be that one of more of those management are now gone, but RL remains. And RL maybe the one that was saving this man I am speaking of.

People stopped coming forward with evidence of wrongdoing because investigations of top brass never went anywhere and everyone knew it. Trust me there were enough to raise anyone’s eyebrows. Better to tell the story that everyone is on the up and up instead of admitting to a mistake repeated mistakes of bad judgement of putting corrupt incompetence into leadership. Everything died once it got to the top.

All this talk about people knowing someone did something unethical and investigated but yet nothing comes out of it. Makes me think two things. One maybe they were innocent or didn’t have enough evidence. Or two maybe the main person that made the decisions on these investigations was as equally corrupt and protected their sacred cows. He-l, CHK had a whole herd of them at one time and now only a few are still grazing. Now we just sit back and watch how many of these sacred cows either leave on their own or get fired now that their shepherds not around. The one in STX has now lost all of his protection and his best scenario is to get sold. I hope he applies for a company where people have left because of him now are in leadership roles.

There’s a guy that’s been investigated a few times and everybody knows. He’s a slippery one, though. He still works here and management has to know. Engineers know. Co-men know.

A few close to him have been caught, but he survives. Unicorn, indeed.

The wheels in gulf coast has been caught with his hands in the cookie jar a few times but miraculously survived. He has received benefits through contractor selection on numerous events but somehow during investigation he makes it through while others are let go. He must be sharing those amphets with someone else at corporate. Anyone high up at corporate bouncing off the walls like a crack head, deep in debt, and constantly over reacting to ever scenario? If so you might want to start there.

Nice try to disguise yourself as a petrotech. Which rig are you working nights on and when were you demoted? lol.
If yall wanna see some serious kickbacks work for a small player in ND or west TX. Some of those men could teach you “Chesapeckers” a trick or two about getting free booze, boots, g-ns, even Harleys.
