I no longer have any high hopes from Fossil in the sense that some of the radical changes this company needs will happen here. However, maybe some small changes would be enough?

I think a lot could have done differently on the product / design side. Embrace smartwatches and technology is fine but the traditional watch development has not been exciting nor particularly creative for a long time and that was within our supposed circle of competence. Also the acquisition of Misfit was expensive and misjudged given we ended up using other people tech like all other watch companies that started to get into smartwatches. Thirdly we opened too many stores earlier on and did not close them fast enough afterwards. These are just a few things that compe to mind..
