How good are GA employees? Are they able to find jobs at other companies easy? Does having GA on your resume help or hurt you when looking for another job? How many people let go last year were able to find employment within 90 days? I am a recent college graduate and was offered a position at GA - would you advise to take it or stay away?

Just like most talented employees that have left (GA is a stepping stone). Get couple years of experiences with GA and move on to a career at another company like Boeing, NG, Lockheed, etc..
Good luck!
If you want to stay in areospace and defense long term GA is a starting point. But if you are looking into getting into high tech or work with Silicon Valley type companies I would stay away from GA all cost.
If your dream company is Boeing or Lockheed - GA is a path that can lead you there. If your dream company is FB, Google or Netflix - those companies won’t even look at you and will question your work ethic…. So map out your career and see where you want to be in 5 to 10 years and see if GA will actually give you those opportunities. Go to linked in and look at where exGA employees go… or look at where current GA employees came from and it will give you a good bench mark of what GA can offer you if you do not plan on staying in the defense industry your whole career.
First of all, congratulations on receiving a job offer straight out of college especially with how the job market has been the past year.
To answer your question, it all depends on which teams and projects you're placed on. As someone who worked at GA for my first job, I personally gained a lot of valuable experience as a new engineer, but that's because I put myself out and learned as much as I could. Of course, like a lot of companies, you're going to run into a sh-t ton of bureaucracy and politics, but as someone coming straight out of the gate, experience will help you on the long run.
Is GA lazy? Some people, yes. Some people, no. Sometimes you're to feel like you're doing all the work. Sometimes you're going to feel like you're not doing anything.
Will you have a hard time finding a job afterwards? To be honest, I don't think most recruiters have even heard of General Atomics. It depends on what skills you gain and if they're applicable to future position you apply to. I've gotten job offers at Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, and Lockheed Martin because of the experience I gained from working at GA.
Good luck!
I wouldn’t say lazy … as much as a product of their environment. GA employees only know one way and one speed - slow and slower… and take a break and another and another….. it’s more company culture… what’s the least amount I can do and still get paid? And if you work hard people will hate bc you are making them look bad…. So don’t work too hard or you will make enemies fast…. Just follow the motto and everything will be okay 👌
