Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

Mid year layoffs coming?

Increasingly concerned what the restructure plan is mid year. We saw the June massacre last year. Will we have a repeat?

Stop worrying. There are jobs out there, even in a pandemic. I was let go 3 years ago. Took my severance and had another job in weeks, with more money. Most of severance in the bank still. I'm now making more money and am the happiest, professionally I have ever been. Don't be tied down. Get out of the rut. Take a chance. You won't regret it. Staples is a dying company. Over 80000 employees in its heyday. How many now? Oh righ, they don't report that number.....

Told you the mid-year massacre was coming. Who knew it would be the CEO? We are in a mismanaged revolving door. Time to get out as this pursuit of Office Depot is like getting rejected by the hot girl or guy in school but you never get the hint.
