Canadian Country Chair with no technical background. Where do I sign up?

Yes, unfortunately the communications coming from the Canada Country Chair are showing a lack of substance. Word count is high, substance is non existent. I wish they would separate the communications into 2 sections....the first section "what you really need to know" and the second section "optional". At least I wouldn't have to waste time trying to filter out the information. Shell Canada future is very uncertain at the moment and a figure head appointee as Country Chair does not create confidence.
This tells you that this company is all about politics not technical. Simply put it this way, political skills trump technicals in landing the top job.
No technical skill needed. Just do what your told.
