Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Would I recommend working at Macys logistics?

Working at a Macys warehouse just sucks the soul from your body. Everybody is an id--t, with a kind exceptionally few. Do you want a slow suffering death? We are hiring!

Again, too many experienced and quality workers were laid off last year.

Any chance you work at the LADC? I work in Big ticket sales in the region and can tell you BT management there is completely incompetent. Even through the pandemic we have stayed busy, and big ticket sales are through the roof now (and saving the company's bottom line...aka a**). We all understand the "state of the industry" on the supply chain issues, and constantly repeat the messages to our customers like broken records, but we shouldn't be losing customers (and money) right and left...from no-show trailers, rude and lazy delivery drivers, and a complete lack of communication from VIC (aka "Customer Care"). It's ridiculous how much red tape we must deal with to get answers and solutions for our customers. We miss the old days when we could pick up the phone and call the warehouse and get things sorted out on the spot. Now it takes at LEAST 2 "business" days for an email from MCCS to even get action on (more often it's several days, if at all). Meanwhile angry customers take out their frustrations on, us, the salespeople...while their cancellations and "adjustments for inconvenience" come out of our wallets...No one seems to care but us. Not even all the bad delivery surveys seem to affect anything. These days the stress levels are at 11. We feel your pain.
