Thread regarding BNSF Railway layoffs

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Since being laid off in February, I have found a job not only making more money than I ever would with the railroad, but also a work at place I make my own schedule, never work weekends and don’t miss anything with my family anymore. Really it’s my fault why didn’t I do this sooner. What a great present getting cut ended up being. Heading to the mountains for some summer fun. Ttyl.

I don’t know about the OP but I drive heavy equipment to its destination for construction companies. Usually 2 days then a fly back or to another location. Depending on situation it’s a great gig. No stress. Pay is better than RR. FWIW
