Thread regarding Fossil Inc. layoffs

Too late for Fossil?

I hate saying this, it sounds too pessimistic, but if this company doesn't make some big changes in the way it does business, I think that every next year will be more and more difficult, until a complete catastrophe.

I wish it wasn’t too late for Fossil, but trends are changing very fast and Fossil is still living off the old glory. Whether it is too late to make that turn, I do not know, but I hope it is not. However, the leadership does not have a great sensibility or a clear vision.

It is probably long past too late, especially when doubling down on the nonsense that sapped all sense and resilience out of the place. And in a lot of ways, it is too sad to be sad. It would be fine - maybe better - for Fossil to become a small company. But that does not mean it will become smart or agile or structure any better. Small and d-mb is just another way to catastrophe, but at least some folks get to have jobs that hopefully fulfill them in some ways while also paying their bills.

I so agree...!!! I see no perspectives no new products or fresh ideas. Fossil will have to cut more costs to adjust to shrinking sales, and will become a small company.
