Seems like the news is reporting oil companies are preferring to send money back to stockholders rather than sinking it into drilling new wells. Where is the Oxy dividend to stockholders? The only one getting money from the company is WB. Bonuses should be reduced to give money to shareholders. Even a dime per share would be an improvement.

This is a “layoff” board in name only. In practice it is gripe and complain group. You can talk about dividends only if you insult your manager or how much you dislike boomers. If you can’t do that, gripe about IT or why you don’t want to return to the office. Free advice, thank me later.

Lack of dividends and a low stock price is unfortunate for those who have invested in this company. I guess it is buyer beware. Who would have ever expected this company to end up like this after the big news of the merger of the century.
The dividend won’t be back until more debt is paid down. Duh!
