Thread regarding Raytheon Co. layoffs

...and the rich get richer......

The 2020 total annual compensation value for Mr. Hayes was $20,970,890 and for RTX’s global median employee was $108,914, resulting in a ratio of:

193:1 !!!

With approximately

30% (!)

of our employees located outside the United States, RTX has operations in almost half of the countries in the world. We believe paying competitive wages targeted at the median of local labor markets within our industry is essential to ensuring a productive, engaged workforce and a sustainable business. Consequently, a global ratio may not be particularly informative without any context for foreign labor markets and the diversity in the roles of RTX’s employees around the world.

They all get golden parachutes. They pad executives with a ton of shares in their compensation packages so when the time comes the executives make the decision with how, to who, how much and when they get a payout. It’s garbage!

The fun is coming for Greg. 2022 is an election year and Greg will once again become a punching bag, but this time from both sides of the aisle. The id--ts working for Greg are making stupid decisions that will expose him to a public Tar and Feathering. Sure, the Republ-ocrat moderates will toe the corporate shill line and keep quiet as jobs are shipped out of the US, but the Left and Right will find common ground and take their shots.

Beating up on Greg Hayes to the media may actually be the first bi-partisan thing Washington has done in 20 years.

Greg, you heard it here first, so you can plan the next 6 months accordingly. Maybe think about early retirement. 2022 will be ugly for corporatist globalists. What? You mean the mo--ns working for you didn't tell you this would happen? One party rule wasn't actually the dawn of a new era? Campaign contributions don't buy silence?

Close down a profitable US division and ship the jobs to a ****ho-e country with 3rd world labor for cash to balance your shaky books and see how much silence you bought. We dare you.

Yep. Never understood why Raytheon agreed to be bought by UTC. They were doing fine by themselves without the sale/merger.

Well, sad to say but you can squarely put the blame on Tom Kennedy for completely selling out Raytheon to UTC. Even Bill Swanson (former CEO) said in an article he would have never made that merger decision. Sadly, Raytheon is forever changed.

Hayes looks like such an entitled goofy mo--n who cares nothing about Raytheon or its employees. What a sad environment he has created.
