Former agency worker here that got let go last year in Dec. I wasn’t able to keep in touch with the people that I would have liked to and I hope all of you are doing better than you were prior to that eventful phone call. It didn’t take me long to land on my feet and I think of those few weeks as unpaid vacation. If you’ve bounced back please share to let others know that you’re doing good and life went on for you.

Pay and benefit wise im at the same level. But Mental stability wise, much, much better. I think i just added 5 years to my life by leaving Ford (I quit).
Whichever company you join after Ford you will be "better off". I did not come across 1 person during my time at Ford that said Ford was better than their previous companies. Not a single person! They were just willing to be slapped across the face day in and day out, if the money for getting slapped was good. I refused to do that.
I was lucky - not agency, blue badge, but I was able to snag a job last year in an area that not impacted by VSSP this year…. so I have a little to prepare my escape or departure (which ever comes first, and since they cut the voluntary lump sum, think they’ll have to force me out first as I have another 10 years to go before retirement)
