The only reason they asked to submit resumes was just to give the warm fuzzys till you where gone, its was just part of I suspect former Sprint's mismanagement wasting employees time.

Prior to being laid off, the managers in my department told us to submit our resumes. I submitted mine and was told I lacked any experience therefore my position will be eliminated. I submitted the same resume to multiple companies and was told I had an impressive resume. I got multiple offers from several different companies.
Is the job market as good as some are saying?
