There’ll be nothing now to stop massive cuts in engineering. Short term gain but it will ki-l the products that we’ve worked so hard on.

Harder to use the bat phone now to complain if your favourite team or toy project is getting looked at.
You’ll have to justify spend based on provable revenue rather than because you know it’s the right thing to do.
Business is in charge now, not technical vision.
