Just curious if any of the 550 laid off went back to RJ. I was approached on the QT by someone still at RJ and asked if I were offered would I consider coming back. This person was someone I used to have respect for but not anymore. It appears that my former manager approached him to feel me out....and he agreed. I cut him off immediately and asked him point blank who put him up to this. He admitted that my old manager did but that they didn't want to formally approach me unless I was serious. If I were a vindictive person I would put names here but I'm not. I told him I am retire, period and that was the end of the conversation.

An IT friend called me a couple weeks ago. He said that he was approached by a manager about reaching out to me. He said he told the manager that it was their decision and he has nothing to say about it. That night he called and told me knowing I would enjoy the story. I'm still waiting for that call. Doubt it will happen.
I heard about that town hall. It was shortly after the layoffs and Paul had to do something to work on morale. It was obviously just for show.
you shouldn't expect RJ to contact you. A friend who still works at RJ said that during a Paul Reilly town hall many months ago he said that they were reaching out to some former employees. I sincerely doubt that occurred.
I saw my exact job posted back in May, I called a former teammate to confirm and it was my job. Wonder why RJ didn't reach out to me.....
about 3 months ago my former manager approached me about coming back. I said I would consider it if they were to offer me a 50% raise and agreed to pay all my back pay. Nothing ever happened. I didn't expect anything to happen. I am glad management if feeling some pain here.
