Thread regarding Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) layoffs

Downward spiral

My colleague left, from whom many people had a lot to learn. Is this a place in a downward spiral?
I've been waiting for some good news for a long time, but unfortunately there isn't any.

My opinion is that it will get worse here, no matter how much some of us do not want to accept it because they do not have the will to tackle the problem.

The Bob Carrigan era was embarrassing. The company spent a ton of money it didn’t have on a bunch of feel good fluff. It did nothing to improve the bottom line or turn the company around. And if you recall, there were a ton of layoffs then too. But Bob was better than Sara, I’ll give you that.

It is such a shame, the leadership during Bob Carrigan's tenure was amazing and truly transformative. Things were improving, unfortunately he could not turn it around fast enough for the board of directors.

So many people staying due to their pension. They will get a shock as it is not on par with other pension plans or taking ownership of your financial future. If they are still there they are either under 5 years or lazy. Deadwood for sure

I think if someone is highly marketable, they wouldn't stay at DNB. I know some people who are still there and don't want to leave because they have a cushy life. Like what they say, its a party life. If they go to another company they will have to do work. This is why DNB is where it is, highly paid, highly political, unproductive people milking the company rather than re-investing that money towards products and new platform. Perfect recipe for disaster. It has been downhill for awhile.

"...they do not have the will to tackle the problem."

Translate:
Are lazy and don't want to do any of the heavy lifting to help keep the company great.
